Sleepy

Today I have been tired and sleepy all day. Also a little off balance. Slightly dizzy. Standing up I am not sure that I have quite got my pitch right and I bang into things like the side of kitchen cabinets.

So today has been a day for pyjamas, sleeping and reading. I read a whole book in a day. Not done that for a while. I read the book from my last post. I devoured it. I loved it and hated it in equal measure.

Her article for the New York Times was much better writing but her book is very raw. There is a little about her story that makes you dislike her. It is too honest and almost too self indulgent.

But then I reflect the mirror back on myself and her reasons for writing. It really is probably quite brave.

I hope she finds her voice for her next novel that enables her to be the writer she has always wanted to be.

My day has been full of rain, books, sleepiness and dizziness with some jelly babies and lots of cups of tea. Really a perfect day.
