Joy

This weekend has been brilliant. Friends arrived Friday night along with the sunshine. It has been a weekend of food, alcohol, riding bikes, sunshine, laughter and landscape.

I did not fall off my bike but did a good 20 miles. However my friend and husband both fell off. My husband twice, once on his back and winded himself. My friend fell head first. Luckily both were unhurt so we could laugh, alot.

The falls were not due to alcohol as that was consumed after the ride.

The coast looked amazing this weekend as I write the windows are open, I can hear the sea and smell it. It feels like late Summer, last moments before Autumn properly arrives.

The dogs have been so good with friends. They have slept at their feet and decided that they are generally good people who can share their space. They have looked cute and entertained all weekend.

Husband has now gone home to do some work, real work actually trying to look after people who are ill. I am meanwhile thinking of the future and work at some point but for the next week another week of lazing by the sea and more friends to come. Joy.
